Camp Ruth

Since the start of Camp David in 2005, there was seed planted in the hearts of girls to have a retreat for them as well. In August 2008 the Lord showed us that it is time, but she will be born out of Camp David, because the woman was born out of the man (Gen. 2:21). On Friday, 5 September 2008, 5 passionate Girls (resembling the 5-Fold ministry) and Elmarie de Vries (Visionary Leader) came together and CAMP RUTH was born!

What was revealed to us is the following:

1. Ruth means Friendship – Female Friend
   
2. Her primary virtue is: Tenacity to Purpose
   
3. She is a woman who is steadfast
   
4. There is a lot of similarities between the bride Ruth and the bride Ester
   
5. If you put a “T” in front of Ruth, you get the word ‘T’Ruth and this is fatefully important as The TRUTH is the Person who shall set us free

R = Redeem (Being Born Again)
U = Unity (Between God and us, between husbands and wives, between parents and children, between Jew and Gentile between different Schools and hostels on Campuses, in friendships and in homes)
T = Transform (The Truth gives us new identity in Christ)
H = Healing (Emotions, Past, Hurt, Sin, Relationships etc.)

This is a Purifying Camp for ladies to:

• Captivate their hearts with healing
  
• Raise up virtuous woman &
  
• Shape their desires
